Red Bulletin features Taurus World Stunt Awards

Red Bulletin, the magazine that reveals the world of Red Bull, May edition features 4 stunt professionals discussing their careers. Stunt men Tony Angelotti, Mark Chadwick and Bob Brown and stunt woman Debbie Evans were all interviewed.

In the articles, Bob Brown talks about how his background as a gymnast and experience with a trampoline, combined with his skills as a high diver allowed him to do high falls as a stunt man. Rather than the usual straight dive most stunt men were doing, he was able to control his body to twist, flip and look out of control.

Mark Chadwick, 2005 Taurus World Stunt Award winner for Best Fire, discussed how he tries to apply science and not superstition to improve burn techniques. He said years ago stunt men thought baby powder would prevent sweat from turning to steam but in reality, if you are so hot your sweat turns to steam, you’re dead and steaming sweat is the least of your problems.

The magazine is distributed in various countries in Europe but you can read the some of the articles and pictures at the Red Bulletin website.
