The winners of the 2020 Taurus World Stunt Awards were announced on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at www.tarurusworldstuntawards.com. Stunt men and women from around the world tuned in to honor their peers for a year of outstanding work in feature films.
The film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the story of a Hollywood actor and his stunt double, clearly struck a chord with the stunt community, taking home a total of 4 Taurus awards. The film was nominated 5 times, winning in the Best Fight, Best High Work, Best Specialty Stunt, and Best Overall Stunt by a Stunt Woman categories. 6 Underground had 8 nominations, tying with 2011’s Fast Five, to be the second-most nominated film ever. The John Wick franchise won a third Taurus award, this time for Best Stunt Coordination and/or 2nd Unit Direction for John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The film Tomiris won the award for Best Action in a Foreign Film, the first Taurus award for the country of Kazakhstan.
