We are now accepting new member applications for the 2027 voting period. The application period runs from January – October and closes at 12 AM PST on October 31, 2026. All new applications will be reviewed AFTER the application period has closed and all applicants will be notified of their status prior to the end of the application year.

Eligibility

In order to be a member of the Taurus World Stunt Awards Academy and to participate in the Taurus World Stunt Awards, interested stunt performers must meet the following 3 requirements:

1. Be a member in good standing of Screen Actors Guild (US performers) or other applicable performer’s union (non-US performers). *

I am a member of SAG

I am a member of a performers union other than SAG

My country does not have/does not require stunt performers to belong to a union

2. Have a current TWSA Academy Member referral and/or recommendation. Please fill out the following information about your referring member: *

3. Members must meet at least one (1) of the criteria listed below: *

Have a SAG contract on 5 feature films that meet all eligibility requirements. For more information please see film eligibility requirements.

Be a member in good standing of a recognized stunt organization. Any questions regarding the definition of a ‘recognized stunt organization’ should be directed to the offices of the Taurus World Stunt Awards. Issues relating to this topic will be reviewed and decided upon by the Blue Ribbon Committee.

Meet a Body of Work requirement. This will be confirmed by the Blue Ribbon Committee of the Taurus World Stunt Awards.
