A cop is attempting to extract an innocent murder suspect from a nightclub. He is interupted by a group of corrupt cops who want to take her. Then a gang of revenge seeking Triads turn up intent on capturing her, and a fight breaks out between them all. Some face replacement, VFX blood, and VFX glass.
The Javier Stunt double fights his way to safety. Taking out a team of stunt Paladins, by utilizing the geography of his Villa to his advantage. Attackers are thrown down stairs, through tables, and smashed across chairs in an effort to evade capture.
The performer rappels down a cliff face, then free falls to a goldtail dead stop. Performer is ratcheted off a cliff face and freefalls to a goldtail dead stop on the cliff face. He then does a controlled fall through the trees and lands in shallow water.
Due to the building’s unique shape—which bows outward by nearly 600 feet—a specialized deck was constructed on the rooftop to ensure a safe exit and landing. The deck included a platform flush with the corner of the tower, effectively squaring off the jump direction and allowing the jumpers to clear the building safely. They landed in a nearby stadium that was fully secured for filming. The stunt performer made the jump in full costume, wearing a concealed parachute custom-designed by Squirrel to resemble a Jansport backpack.”
Revolving restaurant disaster sequence. The main characters are trapped, and ultimately fight for their survival, and hang on for their lives, as the restaurant meets it’s demise. 14 Performers fell 40 feet, bouncing off girders, etc. A second shot had 24 people fall simultaneously on a descender rig as SFX blew tempered glass which fell around them as they fell. A third shot was the actress on a descender rig into camera.
Multiple wire gags including performers flying 40 feet on a winch out a glass window, pausing, flying back in and being ratcheted into a bar with breakaway bottles. Multiple ratchets into walls and to the ground, including one character being ratcheted into the other and they both slammed into the wall together. Characters ratcheted up into the ceiling together, as well as one being ratcheted up into the ceiling and back down to the floor. CGI for face replacement, wire and high dense foam removal.

Superman battles bad guys in a stadium. Performers were manipilated with complex wire and winch moves. CGI was used for wire removal and to create some of the weaponry used in the sequence.
For the majority of the sequence, the two performers were tethered together. A counter weight system was used to remove approximately 80% of stunt performers body weight. A soft dummy was used for the hard impact shots. A slack line was used, with an additional line running to a bousun’s chair positioned under heroes legs to support body weight. We also did a decelleration rig stopping the two performers just before impacting the ground. CGI was used for wide shots of the Predator jumping from tree to tree. CGI was also used for the top shot looking down where the Predator falls from a branch and stabs his sword into the tree to arrest the fall.
A Minivan is being chased by two SUV’s in a residential neighborhood, as they smash through backyards. The chase ends with a huge pipe ramp. No CGI was used.
Three Humvees chase a Limo filled with Thunderbolts, firing at them, and causing them to drive eratically and to swerve. The Hero shows up on a motorcycle performing a stoppie, and takes out the three Humvees. Two Humvees were rigged with Car Flippers, and one Humvee was rigged with a Canon. The Limo was rigged with a Canon and the flip was augmented in post for the last portion of the flip.
US Presidents Limo, “The Beast”, is chased by three BMW X5’s, and a Mercedes Vito Van on the streets of Trieste, Italy. CGI was used for the beginning of the Mercedes van crash.
The Hero steals a Dodge Charger in a Casino and drives in reverse trying to make a getaway. She exits the Casino and is chased by Police and other bad guys. Using reverse driving, reverse 180’s, 90 slides, jumps, impacts, and high speed high octane manuevers, she eventually gets away. All driving was practical utilizing stunt drivers and a pod car for the interior footage.
The Hero is being pursued by bad guys in an SUV. Driver takes the chase both on and off road using precision 90, 180, 270, and 360 slides. Stuntperformer eventually outsmarts them by doing a 270 slide around an 18 wheeler, and then reverses into the SUV taking them out. All driving was practical utilizing stunt drivers and a pod car for the interior footage.
The helicopter launches in pursuit of the hero who is driving the yellow tow truck. The tow truck shoots bursts of fireworks at the helicopter, which evades as it flies through the trees in pursuit. The helicopter is eventually shot down, and is hit by another truck, breaking it apart.

A woman is set on fire and runs through the restaurant, setting off an explosion which ignites the entire restaurant on fire, and igniting three other performers. A propane Popper was used for the explosion, and a majority of the fire was practical. CG was used to enhance the large spaces.
The scene features a pursuit between two boats with occasional collisions, exchanges of gunfire, and physical altercations, including one character falling off a boat and clinging to its side while continuing to shoot, as the other boat launches over them.

Using reverse 180’s, 90 slides, 270 slides, reverse driving, jumps, impacts, and high speed high octane manuevers, she eventually gets away.
The scene features a pursuit between two boats with occasional collisions, exchanges of gunfire, and physical altercations, including one character falling off a boat and clinging to its side while continuing to shoot, as the other boat launches over them.
Using a timed hand pull, performer vaults off a ramp, butterflying and doing a full horizontal twist before crashing into a piece of flying furniture. She then performs a “Raiz” flip, runs and slides under a falling shelf, and ultimately kicks off a piece of debris, jumping over a growing hole and front flipping into a roll on the ground. All work was assisted by wire handpulls.
Stunt performer attempts to punch our 2 lead actors, who dodge it and use his momentum to throw him over a 2nd story railing onto a DJ Booth on the ground floor. No wires were utilized in this action. The performer self motivated himself over the railing by stepping off of a deck built on the 2nd story balcony.
